frescom.com is the home page of Matthew Fresco and has been up and running since March 2000. Over the years it has had various uses and purposes from hosting family photographs to providing a chat forum and from publishing my my online diary to storing my data. Today we call that blogging, cloud computing and social networking.

These days we all use sites like Facebook, WordPress and Picassa to do all the things that personal sites used to do and frescom.com did for me. We even use software like FrontPage to cut code and design pages. Sites like mine are no longer in fashion but once upon a time they were all the rage. Most of all it was and, to some extent, still is a sand pit for me to develop my coding skills.

Matthew Fresco is a solicitor who specialises in criminal law. He is a qualified Duty Solicitor who enjoys representing defendants at police stations during interviews. He is an experienced advocate, on call 24 hours a day and is quite happy representing clients in the middle of the night.

His clients have included a whole range of people from Middle Eastern Princes to London's homeless. He treats them all just the same. During his career he has dealt with cases covering the whole spectrum of criminal defence work from the most petty to the most serious. He defends his clients, regardless of the offence, to the very best of his ability.

Before becoming a lawyer Matthew was a computer programmer. Some of his work can still be found lurking in dark corners of the web. He continues to develop software and web applications, primarily for the legal industry.

Matthew is a graduate of the University of Ulster and a post graduate of the University of Northumbria where he read Psychology and Law respectively.

He has three ducks, two rabbits, a goose and a chicken. He also has three children.
